The professional development programs (PDP) include academic certificates in information security and homeland security. The CINSec series of certifications prepare people for a variety of positions in the corporate and governmental sectors. The GCP certification prepares people in civil, government, and the military in the areas of logistical and transportation security, preparedness, and recovery operations.

Commercialization

As a private institute, we are able to commercialize research and technology in a variety of flexible relationships. In some cases, companies have created technologies and in cooperation with the university, provided education and conducted further research, or have formed joint ventures to build on existing technologies. In other cases, academic research has been incubated into companies, or commercialized through existing companies, forming strong partnerships between business and academia.

Consulting

Training and consulting services are offered through the Security Policy Institute. We have conducted security audits, provided "white-hat" penetration of security defenses, provided expertise in the development of security technologies, processes, and procedures, and have worked as an extended R&D arm of several organizations.
